Garlic mustard is an invasive species that has potentially serious implications for the health of Wisconsin woodlands. Beginning in 2007 and continuing this year, the Town is acting to control the spread of garlic mustard along Town rights of way. A flyer showing how to identify garlic mustard in its various life stages is available here. As noted at the bottom of the flyer, Town of Vermont residents are being asked to report roadside garlic mustard locations to mail@quercus-ls.com. Note the road name, nearby fire number and which side of the road the garlic mustard has been identified.
