No member of the Town Board, Plan Commission, Employee of the Town, Town Clerk or Treasurer shall act as an agent, paid or unpaid, actual or construed, for anyone requesting rulings from the Board or Plan Commission.

It is not the intent of this resolution to prohibit town officials or employees from helping people find the correct answer to questions or advising them on a course of action.

Webster’s Dictionary defines "agent" as:

1. Something that produces or is capable of producing an effect;
2. One that acts or exerts power;
3. One who acts for, or in place of, another by authority of him or her.
